Key Responsibilities:
- Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
- Analyze scope of work, technical specifications, and contract conditions.
- Identify civil system requirements.
- Conducting site visits gather asset information and prepare assessing report
- Prepare detailed bids, including labor, material, and equipment costs, for submission to clients or stakeholders
- Highlight ambiguities, risks, and missing information.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs for future reference and audit purposes
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Estimate material, spare parts, tools, and equipment costs.
- Assess subcontractor quotations and compare commercially and technically.
- Develop detailed cost breakdown structures (CBS).
- Support development of cash flow projections.
- Identify commercial and technical risks.
- Evaluate asset condition and lifecycle risk.
- Propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and commercial pricing.
- Maintain supplier and subcontractor database.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in civil estimation (FM / Landscaping background preferred).
- Experience in O&M or Integrated FM contracts.
- Strong knowledge of lifecycle costing.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects at once
