Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
  • Analyze scope of work, technical specifications, and contract conditions.
  • Identify civil system requirements.
  • Conducting site visits gather asset information and prepare assessing report
  • Prepare detailed bids, including labor, material, and equipment costs, for submission to clients or stakeholders
  • Highlight ambiguities, risks, and missing information.
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs for future reference and audit purposes
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Estimate material, spare parts, tools, and equipment costs.
  • Assess subcontractor quotations and compare commercially and technically.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdown structures (CBS).
  • Support development of cash flow projections.
  • Identify commercial and technical risks.
  • Evaluate asset condition and lifecycle risk.
  • Propose risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and commercial pricing.
  • Maintain supplier and subcontractor database.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in civil estimation (FM / Landscaping background preferred).
  • Experience in O&M or Integrated FM contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of lifecycle costing.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects at once
