Civil Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and procure civil construction materials, equipment, and subcontract services in line with project specifications and budgets.


• Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze technical and commercial offers, and conduct negotiations to achieve best value.


• Coordinate with technical, planning, and site teams to ensure timely availability of materials according to project schedules.


• Review and ensure compliance of suppliers submittals with project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.


• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and schedule compliance.


• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and reports, and support cost control and value engineering initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.


• 
  Minimum 35 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within construction or contracting companies.
  


• Strong knowledge of civil materials, suppliers, subcontractors, and local/international procurement practices.


• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement platforms).


• Strong negotiation skills are required.


• Supply Chain or Procurement certifications are a plus.
