We are seeking an experienced Clinical Social Worker to oversee high-quality social work. This role provides leadership across assessment, care coordination, discharge planning, professional supervision, and service delivery within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality biopsychosocial assessments, care coordination, and evidence-informed social work interventions within the scope of practice
- Oversee risk management, safeguarding processes, safety planning, and crisis intervention, ensuring appropriate escalation and documentation
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (psychiatry, psychology, medical, nursing, and allied health) to integrate social and environmental factors into holistic care planning
- Lead discharge planning and aftercare, ensuring continuity of care through family engagement, community partnerships, and barrier reduction
- Provide professional leadership and supervision, supporting reflective practice, performance management, staff development, and trainee mentorship
- Translate service objectives into measurable operational goals, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and outcomes
- Uphold governance, compliance, and ethical practice, including confidentiality, accurate documentation, patient rights, and adherence to UAE legal and regulatory frameworks
- Build strong internal and external partnerships, ensuring coordinated service delivery and effective stakeholder engagement

Education & Experience
- BSc in Social Work
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- 5+ years post-qualification experience working with adults with complex psychosocial needs
- Experience in leadership within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in supervision, line management, and workforce development
- Western-trained and licensed (UK / USA or equivalent)
- Arabic speaker (written and spoken)
