Cloud Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions in Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Commercial Cloud environments. The role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, and security compliance (IM8).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures using cloud-native patterns, containers, and microservices.
• Deploy and manage solutions in GCC/CC environments with strong security and network boundary controls.
• Implement cloud security controls, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks (IM8).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
• Set up and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security automation (DevSecOps).
• Monitor cloud environments, resolve security issues, and optimize performance & cost (FinOps).
• Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), vendors, and internal teams.
• Support POCs, SIT/UAT, deployments, and project lifecycle activities.
• Maintain documentation (HLD/LLD, runbooks) and ensure audit compliance.
• Continuously improve security posture, processes, and architecture designs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• 10 years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cloud architecture
• Strong expertise in AWS (preferred) knowledge of Azure/GCP
• Hands-on with: Terraform / ARM / Bicep, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) & Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Experience in DevSecOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of: Cloud security, IAM, encryption, High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR), Networking, servers (Windows/Linux), storage & backup
• Familiarity with IM8 policies and government security standards (Singapore preferred)
• Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
