Role Purpose
Own and continuously improve the cloud security posture across AWS and Azure platforms by embedding security into architecture, operations, and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance cloud security posture, including vulnerability identification and remediation.
- Perform threat modelling and implement preventative and detective security controls.
- Respond to and support investigation of cloud security incidents and escalations.
- Implement governance controls such as policies, RBAC, and least-privilege access.
- Define and maintain secure cloud architecture patterns and configuration standards.
- Partner with cloud engineering and operations teams to embed security into pipelines and workflows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in cloud security engineering across AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of identity, access management, governance, and security monitoring.
- Experience working with cloud-native security tools and security posture management.
