About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Cloud System & Network Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our cloud and hybrid infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security across Microsoft-based environments and cloud platforms, while supporting the organization's digital and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage production cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Azure / AWS / GCP), ensuring uptime and resiliency.
- Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments, including installation, hardening, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Manage identity and access services such as Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
- Design and maintain secure cloud networking environments (VNets/VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, load balancers).
- Configure and continuously improve firewall and security policies (on-prem and cloud), including VPNs, IPS/IDS, NAT, and Zero-Trust principles.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions and conduct regular testing and documentation.
- Monitor infrastructure performance using monitoring and logging tools, proactively preventing incidents.
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or scripting languages.
- Maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and change records.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and other IT teams to support CI/CD pipelines and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 36+ years of experience in system and network administration within enterprise or cloud-focused environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including:
- Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA
- (Preferred) Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Intune, and Defender
- Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP is a plus).
- Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VPNs, DNS).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and security solutions (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos, pfSense, or cloud-native firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Azure Monitor).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in incident response and on-call environments with clear communication.
