About the Role
We are seeking a Collections Supervisor to oversee and manage the organization's collections operations. The role focuses on ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, supervising the collections team, and maintaining effective communication with clients to achieve collection targets.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with the ability to monitor performance and improve collection efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and guide the collections team to achieve monthly and annual collection targets
Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up with clients
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding overdue payments
Prepare and review daily and periodic collection performance reports
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related issues
Ensure proper documentation and issuance of payment receipts
Support field visits when required to resolve collection cases
Monitor team productivity and provide performance feedback
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
35 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage deadlines and collection targets
Good understanding of collection procedures and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to manage a team and maintain productivity
