Role Overview:
Lead the commercial, contractual, and cost management functions across major engineering and infrastructure projects. Provide strategic commercial oversight, ensure contractual compliance, and drive financial performance while strengthening client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership across commercial and cost management functions.
- Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
- Manage financial performance, cost control, and commercial risk.
- Lead negotiations and resolve complex commercial and contractual matters.
- Build strong client relationships and engage key stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise commercial teams to drive performance excellence.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
- 15+ years of commercial experience within engineering consulting organisations.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing commercial teams and major project portfolios.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver successful outcomes.
Key Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong commercial and business acumen with strategic mindset.
- Extensive understanding of Middle East construction industry practices.
- Sound knowledge of contracts and legal frameworks.
- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team development ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
