As Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role across high-profile projects, ensuring commercial, contractual and risk excellence throughout the entire lifecycle. Depending on your experience, you will oversee either a flagship development or a portfolio of prestigious projects, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver world-class outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all post-contract commercial activities, ensuring robust cost control and value optimization
- Oversee procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial risk management
- Manage and mentor commercial teams, fostering high performance and accountability
- Drive financial performance across projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Collaborate with project directors, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery
- Ensure all developments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction
- Proven experience in a Commercial Director / Senior Commercial Leadership role within real estate development or tier-one construction firms in the GCC
- Strong pre- and post-contract expertise across large-scale projects
- Track record of delivering major residential and/or hospitality developments from inception through to completion
- Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management
- Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a fast-paced environment
