About The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Events Commercial Director with 67 years of experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship sales, and event monetization. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Web3, Blockchain, FIntech, AI, or Gaming industries, with a proven track record of attending major industry conferences, building strategic relationships, and closing high-value commercial deals.

In this role, you will lead the commercial strategy for our events portfolio, driving revenue through sponsorships, exhibition sales, partnerships, and brand collaborations. You will be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities, onboarding sponsors and exhibitors, and developing long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for conferences, summits, and industry events.
  • Generate high-value revenue through sponsorship sales, exhibition booths, partnerships, and branded activations.
  • Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close high-value commercial deals with brands, startups, investors, and ecosystem partners.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at major Web3, Blockchain, AI, and Gaming conferences to expand business opportunities and market presence.
  • Work closely with marketing and event teams to create compelling sponsorship packages and revenue-generating event concepts.
  • Track sales pipeline, revenue targets, and partnership performance to ensure commercial success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor events, and emerging partnership opportunities.

Skills & Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in event sales, sponsorships, partnerships, or commercial leadership.
  • Prior experience in Web3, Blockchain, Fintech, AI, Gaming, or tech events is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to close high-ticket sponsorship and exhibition deals.
  • Strong network across relevant industries and conference ecosystems.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly commercial mindset with the ability to drive revenue in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
