We're expanding our team in the Middle East and are looking for a Commercial Engineer (AV) to support groundbreaking themedentertainment and AV integration projects across the UAE and GCC.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the development of technical and commercial proposals for major AV and integrated technology projects.
- Reviewing AV engineering designs and documentation to validate scope, feasibility, and risk.
- Preparing pricing models, BOQs, and commercial breakdowns for bids and RFPs.
- Coordinating with engineering teams to ensure commercial accuracy and scope alignment.
- Engaging with regional suppliers and partners for pricing and leadtime data.
- Identifying valueengineering opportunities and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Working across global teams and maintaining strong regional client relationships.
What You Bring
- Solid technical understanding of AV systems (projection, LED, control, show control, networks).
- Experience in commercial/bid support within AV, systems integration, or themed entertainment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with platforms such as QSys, Medialon, or Alcorn McBride is a plus.
- Strong financial, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Engineering/technical degree or equivalent experience.
- CTS/CTSD certification beneficial.
