Support revenue and profitability growth through shifting the way the firm thinks and acts with respect to pricing, negotiating, commercial contracting and the management of key commercials throughout delivery.
Responsibilities
- The purpose of the role is to support revenue and profitability growth through shifting the way the firm thinks and acts with respect to pricing, negotiating, commercial contracting and the management of key commercials throughout delivery. This may entail:
- Analysing financial performance and consulting widely with partners and staff to understand drivers of revenue and profitability performance.
- Shaping optimal pricing strategies for key service offerings (with a particular focus on As A Service / Managed Service, and emerging AI / Technology based products) which address the performance drivers.
- Where appropriate leading commercial discussions with clients/procurement functions to ensure we articulate clearly the value of PwC and achieve commercial return commensurate with that
- For large scale individual pursuits and client frameworks, guiding the pricing and negotiation strategy to maximise winnability and margin potential, drafting commercial contracting to ensure robust commercial protection, and managing the most critical commercial aspects once the engagement has moved to delivery phase.
- Enhancing the commercial awareness and capabilities of partners and staff through targeted training and communication programmes, tooling and best practice materials.
- Drawing leadership insights with the potential to drive positive commercial change at scale.
- Scaling a team to support the implementation of enhanced commercial excellence across Lines of Service
- Requirements
- Credible with senior leaders, influencing, winning hearts and minds.
- Significant experience across a breadth of commercial aspects including pricing, negotiating, and commercial contracting.
- Ability to operate effectively in partnership (non corporate) environment with devolved decision making.
