We are looking to hire a Manager- Commercial Governance who will be responsible for regulating & controlling the quality Compliance standards & procedures among commercial partners and stakeholder's, performing Compliance function to meet business requirements, facilitating the management of commercial policies, procedures, systems and audit functions, and ensuring full compliance with regulations and performance standards for our client based in the Dubai which is one of the largest companies in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 8 months and is renewable.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and ensure that processes, policies, procedures and operating manuals are aligned with internal regulations and standards.
- Manage compliance across all commercial activities to ensure standards are at the highest possible level.
- Support Line Manager in managing internal and external audit requests, gather data and information from relevant stakeholders and formalize responses to audit reports.
- Responsible for establishing relationships with customers to better understand the requirements and their industry dynamics/ KPIs.
- Support line manager and department in leading the technical submission evaluation for commercial tenders.
- Manage corrective actions for all audit and quality reports and maintain accurate records of all relevant communications.
- Compile statistical data including benchmarking against key clients & best practices.
- Write narrative reports summarizing quality Compliance findings.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Business Administration/Related PMP Preferred
- 5 - 7 Years overall experience
- Practical knowledge of retail business
- Application of international retail standards and performance criteria
- Ability to prepare and understand financial concepts and applications
- Awareness of global retail & F&B trends
- An understanding of the UAE & GCC retail and business environment
- An understanding of Local Laws and Governance
