Job Title:Commercial / Project Controls Engineer (QS and Planning)
Role Summary:Responsible for monthly payments, cost control, and progress reporting across design, procurement, and construction activities, supporting the Client in financial and programme monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Cost Control
- Prepare and submitmonthly Interim Payment Applications (IPAs)with supporting documents.
- Verify and reconcile subcontractor and supplier payments againstLPOs and subcontracts.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and report variances.
- Supportmonthly commercial and cost reporting.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Trackdesign progressand maintain submission logs.
- Monitorprocurement progress, including PO and subcontract awards.
- Measureconstruction progressagainst the baseline programme.
- Assist in preparation ofmonthly project status reportsfor management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree inQuantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5+ yearsexperience in commercial / project controls roles.
- Experience withpayments, cost tracking, and progress reporting.
- Qatar and Middle East experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of project programmes (P6 / MS Project preferred).
- Good coordination and communication skills.
