Role Summary
We are hiring a high-impactCommercial OperationsSpecialistto lead critical commercial workstreams acrossdemand forecasting, government tendering, and feasibility studies. This role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on tender execution experience, andadeep understanding of theSaudi healthcare procurement ecosystem(e.g., NUPCO, governmental institutions, private sector dynamics), enabling data-driven product and partnership decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1) Forecasting & Commercial Analytics
- Develop andmaintainSKU-level demand forecasts(public + private sectors) using credible assumptions and market signals.
- Build forecasting models bychannel, institution, and region, incorporating seasonality, epidemiology (when relevant), adoption curves, and competitor actions.
- Establish forecasting governance:assumption logs, version control, scenario planning(base/best/worst), and periodic refresh cadence.
- Translate forecasts intocommercial plans: opportunity sizing,launchreadiness, supply planning inputs, and revenue projections.
2) Tendering & Institutional Business
- Lead end-to-endtender planning and execution, including opportunity scanning, bid strategy, pricing logic, and submission coordination.
- Maintain and update a tender calendar and pipeline (e.g.,NUPCO cycles, institutional tenders, GHC opportunities where relevant).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Quality) to ensurecomplianceand completesubmissions.
- Develop win/loss insights and post-tender analyses to improve pricing, positioning, and bidding strategy.
3) Feasibility Studies & Investments Cases
- Build structuredfeasibility studiesfor new products, licensing opportunities, partnerships, and localization/manufacturing decisions.
- Create robust financial models (NPV/IRR/payback), includingpricing corridors, tender price sensitivity, COGS assumptions, and market share ramps.
- Produce executive-ready business cases, memos, and presentations for leadership and external stakeholders.
4) Saudi Market Intelligence & Opportunity Sourcing
- Conduct continuous market intelligence: competitor mapping, pricing benchmarks, formulary and access dynamics, KOL/institution insights.
- Map decision-makers and stakeholders across the Saudi ecosystem; support engagement strategy with key institutions.
- Identifyand qualify BD opportunities aligned with strategic priorities and national healthcare needs.
5) Cross-Functional Execution
- Serve as the analytical engine connecting BD, Market Access, Finance, Regulatory, and Supply to ensure decisions aredata-driven and executable.
- Build templates and playbooks for forecasting, feasibility, and tender evaluation to standardize how decisions are made.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3+yearsof relevant experience inSaudi Arabiain BD, tendering, commercial strategy, market access analytics, or consulting (healthcare/pharma/biotech).
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Forecastingand commercial modeling (SKU-level; scenario-based)
- Tendering(institutional/government submissions and strategy)
- Feasibility studiesand investment cases (NPV/IRR, sensitivity analyses)
- Strong knowledge of Saudi institutional market dynamics and procurement processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work across functions.
Required Skills
- Advanced Excel financial modeling (NPV/IRR, scenario/sensitivity, pricing logic).
- Strong business writing skills (clear, defensible assumptions; executive-ready outputs).
- Tender documentation discipline andcloseattention to detail.
- Market sizing, competitor analysis, and pricing benchmarking.
- Presentation skills (PowerPoint/storytellingwith data).
- Tools: Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (advanced); familiarity with Tableau/Power BI is a plus.
