Summary-

As a Commis I, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in a professional kitchen setting. You will work under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to ensure high-quality and timely food production.

Job Responsibility-

  • Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including cutting, chopping, and marinating
  • Cook food according to set standards and specifications
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef

Candidate Requirements-

  • Proven experience as a Commis or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions closely
  • Basic culinary skills and understanding of various cooking techniques
  • Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
