Role Description

The Commis I Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality culinary dishes according to set recipes and standards. You will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to maintain consistent food quality. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi, requiring flexibility and dedication in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation, and understanding of various cuisines
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and proper storage practices
• Ability to efficiently collaborate in a team and work effectively under pressure
• Attention to detail, creativity, and strong time management skills
• Basic understanding of inventory and cost control
• Formal culinary training or certification is highly desired
• Previous experience in a similar role within a reputable hotel or restaurant is a plus
