Your Role
You will be responsible for buying and managing key commodities across international markets. The role involves working closely with suppliers, tracking market prices, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure steady supply at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing procurement of key commodities from international suppliers
- Working closely with suppliers, with a focus on Eastern Europe
- Tracking market prices and supply risks
- Negotiating contracts and commercial terms
- Managing imports, logistics coordination, and compliance
- Controlling costs and improving purchasing efficiency
- Working with finance on budgets and cost planning
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues
Must Have
- 8+ years of experience in commodity procurement or trading
- Hands-on experience buying commodities internationally
- Experience with Eastern Europe markets is required
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Good understanding of international trade and logistics
- Comfortable working with numbers and market data
- Strong communication skills in English
