Job DescriptionPurposeWe are seeking a creative and drivenCommunications and Content Executiveto join our Marketing team. You will play a key role in creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve student recruitment and brand visibility goals.
This role requires a journalistic approach, researching, sourcing, writing, and editing compelling content that tells our story across multiple communication channels. You will also be a liaison for media-related matters, working closely with our PR agency to ensure Middlesex University Dubai is prominently showcased in the press, online, and beyond.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement acontent strategyaligned with short-term and longterm recruitment objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Design teams to plan and deliver content across all communication channels.
- Source, create, andpublish engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking content.
- Edit, proofread, and enhance content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and highquality messaging.
- Provide content support for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing and Operations Manager and Assistant Managers to execute campaigns.
- Develop and maintain aneditorial calendar, proactively source stories and content across the University.
- Manage the relationship with the PR agency to maximize media coverage and brand visibility.
- Maintain and update thecorporate portfolioof Middlesex University Dubai (statistics, achievements, accreditations, partnerships, etc.).
- Createcontent writing guidelines and toolsfor use across the University (print, digital, and media).
- Partner with the Webmaster to optimize content forSEOand improve website performance.
- Research and generatenew ideasto engage target audiences and remain ahead of marketing trends.
- Ensure compliance with copyright, data protection, and brand standards.

- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- A motivated self-starter with strong collaboration skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge ofSEOand web traffic analytics.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- An impressiveportfolio of written work, including feature articles.
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven ability to develop and executemarketing campaigns.
- Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Minimum two years recent experience in communications, content, or marketing roles.
