Role Description
El Hossam Pharmacy is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, educating patients on proper medication usage, and ensuring strict compliance with pharmacy regulations. This role also includes managing inventory, maintaining precise patient records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and ensure all prescriptions are valid and complete.
- Provide expert counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, interactions, and safe medication use.
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage medication inventory, stock levels, and expiry tracking.
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
- Maintain accurate and organized medication and patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field.
- Valid pharmacist license (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community or clinical pharmacy (required).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug administration, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software is a plus.
- Ability to begin work immediately is highly preferred.
