Manager AFC Advisory

We are currently partnering with a leading international bank to appoint a Manager AFC Advisory to join their Financial Crime Compliance team in Riyadh.
This role will sit within the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) function and will provide advisory support to business and front office teams across matters relating to AML, sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, and financial crime risk management.
As part of the organisation's localisation strategy, applications are open to Saudi nationals only.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide AFC advisory support to business and front office teams on financial crime risks, including AML, sanctions, and anti-bribery & corruption
- Review new client relationships, products, and transactions from a financial crime risk perspective
- Support the interpretation and implementation of financial crime policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct financial crime risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigating controls
- Work closely with compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure effective financial crime risk management
- Support regulatory initiatives, policy enhancements, and control improvements
- Deliver guidance and training to internal stakeholders on AFC-related matters
Requirements
- Saudi (required as part of localisation / Saudization initiatives)
- 610+ years of experience within Financial Crime Compliance, AFC Advisory, or AML Compliance in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and financial crime regulatory frameworks
- Experience providing advisory support to business or front office teams within banking
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous
