Launching in 2022, we now work with a diverse range of clients and client structures across multiple jurisdictions including the DIFC, ADGM, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands & Crown Dependencies.

In response to increasing demand from our clients for regulatory compliance & licensing support, we're now looking to hire a Regulatory ComplianceConsultant & MLRO to assist clients with regulatory licensing applications and ongoing compliance support for DIFC, ADGM and SCA authorisations.

Roles and responsibilities

• Overseeing the creation and implementation of client policies, procedures, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Drafting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with various regulatory and legal requirements
• Identifying compliance and money laundering risks and advising on improvements to the client's control framework
• Assisting clients with preparing their regulatory business plan and application forms for new authorisation applications
• Liaising with the FSRA, DFSA, SCA and other competent authorities on behalf of clients
• Drafting and implementing compliance monitoring programmes
• Working collaboratively with an entrepreneurial team to design and implement innovative and efficient solutions to help our clients effectively manage risk
• Acting as outsourced MLRO/CO for authorised firms

Looking for someone who

• Is well-organised, pro-active, diligent and detail oriented.
• Has strong communication skills, must be fluent in English.
• Knowledge of and experience with DFSA/FSRA/SCA regulatory regimes
• Has previously held MLRO/CO roles in DFSA/FSRA/SCA authorised firms
• Must have previously contributed to new authorisation applications and has ideally supported multiple licensees in a consulting capacity
• Has an entrepreneurial drive and desire to be a meaningful part of a high growth business

Experience and Education

• At least 3-5 years experience in a compliance advisory role in the UAE supporting applicants or in-house at a DFSA/FSRA/SCA authorised firm
• Strong IT skills.
• ICA/ACAMS qualification strongly preferred
