Our client, a well-established company in Dubai, is looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to AML laws, Economic Substance Regulations, and other relevant policies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing compliance programs, conducting audits, and ensuring the organization operates within regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to AML laws, Economic Substance Regulations, and other relevant frameworks.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Provide training and guidance on compliance-related matters to employees.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.
- Prepare reports and maintain compliance records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in compliance or risk management.
- ACAMS certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of AML laws, Economic Substance Regulations, and compliance best practices.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
