We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Department in Abu Dhabi. The role holder will act as a process governance steward, ensuring all business processes across the organization align with internal policies, approved SOPs, and regulatory requirements. The position requires a strong focus on audit, documentation, and data-driven reporting to drive continuous improvement and operational control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Governance & Development
- Partner with departments to standardize, document, and enhance business processes.
- Lead the design and rollout of new or revised workflows in compliance with internal controls.
- Ensure all process documentation is formally approved, version-controlled, and communicated.
2. Compliance Monitoring & Audit
- Conduct periodic process audits to assess adherence to SOPs, DOA, and control frameworks.
- Identify non-conformities, process gaps, and compliance risks.
- Guide departments in documenting Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and verify implementation.
3. Documentation & Management Reporting
- Maintain a centralized repository of SOPs, process maps, compliance checklists, and audit records.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance dashboards and management summaries.
- Use Power BI and Canva to design interactive dashboards and visual infographics.
- Translate audit data into clear executive insights and trend analyses.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for process-related compliance queries.
- Conduct awareness sessions and training on compliance standards and documentation practices.
- Facilitate alignment between departments to ensure uniformity in process execution.
Qualifications, Experience and Required Skill Set:
- Bachelors or master's in business administration or other relevant fields.
- Professional certifications (Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, or Compliance-related certifications) are an advantage
- 36 years of experience in process compliance, internal process audit, or governance roles.
- Experience in SOP implementation, audits, and compliance monitoring preferred
- Ability to interpret policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, dashboards, and data visualization, including the ability to present insights through clear infographics.
- Proven negotiation and arbitration skills, with the ability to manage discussions, resolve issues, and drive consensus.
- High attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
