Job Title: CAD Drafter (SolidWorks)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled CAD Drafter with strong proficiency in SolidWorks to join our design team. In this role, you will create accurate and comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings and models to support engineering, product development, and manufacturing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and translate engineering concepts, sketches, and product requirements into detailed CAD drawings and models using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and project managers to ensure accurate, functional, and manufacturable designs.
- Ensure all drawings, models, and documentation comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
- Revise, update, and maintain drawings based on team feedback, design changes, and project needs.
- Organize and maintain digital design files, documentation, and version control for ongoing and completed projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or CAD Designer, with advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or additional CAD software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, engineering concepts, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical certification or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
