Job Purpose

The Concept Designer translates strategic briefs into compelling visual concepts for campaigns, packaging, brand moments, and product storytelling, acting as a creative contributor across Floward's D&I and commercial teams, and developing the conceptual and craft skills required to lead complex design briefs.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Creation and Visual Storytelling

  • Develop original design concepts for everyday occasions, seasonal campaigns, exclusive launches, bundling solutions, and brand moments from brief to execution.
  • Create compelling visual narratives through mood boards, concept presentations (including mock-ups and technical drawings), and design rationale.
  • Lead the visual development of assigned briefs, exploring multiple creative directions before recommending a solution
  • Produce final design assets across disciplines.

Campaign and Brand Execution

  • Ensure all design output reflects the brand's premium visual identity, tone, and brand positioning with precision.
  • Adapt and localise approved concepts for different markets, channels, and product formats as required.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders with clear visual rationale and openness to structured feedback.

Collaboration and Growth

  • Collaborate with Brand & Creative and Buying & Merchandising teams to deliver integrated campaign design solutions.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and procurement to ensure delivery timelines, material alignment and costing are withing the agreed terms.
  • Work with the Concept Design Senior and Assistant Manager to refine creative approaches and elevate output quality.
  • Contribute to the team's trend awareness and creative culture through idea-sharing and peer review.
  • Mentor Concept Design Officers on brief interpretation, design craft, and brand application.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field

Experience

3–5 years in a creative, branding, or design agency environment; e-commerce or lifestyle brand experience preferred

Skills

  • Creative dialogue, in-depth material technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  • Technical Knowledge – Auto-cad/3D rendering software, Adobe Suite, Figma, AI designing expertise.
