Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Concept Developer located in Jeddah. The Concept Developer will be responsible for ideating and developing original, impactful concepts for various media productions. This includes conducting research, brainstorming creative ideas, and ensuring alignment with the studio's vision and client goals. Collaboration with creative teams like production, design, and marketing will also be central to this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Production and Creative teams to develop and execute artwork and creative concepts across various projects.
  • Coordinate, support, and manage all phases of projects, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Proven skills and experience in Concept Development, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to translate ideas into compelling concepts for media content.
  • Proficiency in analyzing trends and audiences to inform concept creation.
  • Familiarity with the media production process and a keen eye for industry trends is advantageous.
  • Design and produce digital and print materials, including graphics, layouts, illustrations, branding assets, and visual content.
  • Create storyboards, sketches, prototypes, and technical designs to support project development.
  • Conduct research on current art, design, and industry trends, and provide insights to inform creative projects.
  • Build, paint, finish, and independently create props; assist with set dressing and set changes throughout production.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain project documents, including contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and art department files.
  • Manage and organize art supplies, equipment, and department logistics, including errands, purchasing, and administrative support such as scheduling meetings and organizing files.
  • Coordinate project timelines and deadlines to ensure smooth workflow and brand consistency across departments.
  • Provide constructive feedback on ongoing projects and suggest potential improvements.
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other relevant parties as needed.
  • Ensure all artwork, graphics, and props adhere to brand guidelines and project standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Art Director or management.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Production Management, Project Management, and Video Production.
  • Art Direction experience to drive and maintain high creative quality standards.
  • Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the entertainment or media industry is an advantage
