Job Purpose
To manage and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities at site, ensuring work is executed safely, in compliance with project specifications, codes, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise E&I construction activities including installation, testing, and commissioning support.
- Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and company procedures.
- Coordinate daily site activities with construction contractors, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams.
- Review and execute work as per approved method statements, ITPs, and work permits.
- Monitor progress, identify constraints, and support recovery plans to meet project schedules.
- Interface with engineering teams to resolve site technical queries and field changes.
- Ensure proper installation of cable trays, cabling, junction boxes, panels, instruments, and control systems.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and promote safe work practices on site.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and punch list closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas construction experience, preferably on EPC/EPCM projects.
- Strong knowledge of E&I construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects.
- Familiar with international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, ATEX).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
