Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a skilled Construction / Projects Lawyer to join their team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of critical infrastructure projects across the Middle East.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising government authorities, private sector developers, international contractors, and lenders on structuring, procurement, and negotiation of agreements for major power, water, and infrastructure projects, driving the region's sustainable development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in structuring and preparing competitive procurement processes
- Negotiate concession agreements, construction contracts, and operating agreements
- Review regulatory regimes and provide strategic advice on joint ventures
- Advise on risk allocations underpinning infrastructure development in the region
- Collaborate with a diverse team of experts across multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction and infrastructure projects
- Deep understanding of renewable energy, water, and wastewater projects
- Proven track record in advising on PPP structures and procurement processes
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks and provide strategic advice
