JOB PURPOSE:
GCL is looking to hire a Construction Manager who is responsible for the overall planning, execution, control, and completion of project activities to ensure consistency with project specifications, construction milestones, budgets, and company standards. Ensures optimal coordination of resources, teams, and site operations to achieve successful project delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identify and allocate required manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements and schedules.
- Develop and maintain project plans aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure, ensuring readiness for mobilization and commencement.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor progress against the project plan and ensure effective cost control throughout all construction stages.
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow continuity and timely material availability.
- Ensure all site testing and quality checks are completed, and defects are rectified prior to project delivery.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of project teams, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: 510 years of construction management experience in large-scale landscaping or civil projects within the GCC.
