About Your Team

You will report to the Operations department and play a pivotal role within the Department, preparing highly accurate shop management and production files for bespoke Fit-out items. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and factory teams to ensure seamless production, compliance with design intent, and excellence in execution.

Your Role

Lead the fit out installation works for the assigned project area, driving daily productivity, quality, and safety so that all scope is delivered on programme, within budget, and in full compliance with contract specifications, QA/QC standards, and ALEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and issue daily work plans with progress targets
• Monitor HSE implementation and enforce safe working practices
• Ensure drawings, specs, and materials are current and approved
• Track procurement, deliveries, and resolve supply constraints
• Oversee subcontractor performance and site coordination
• Maintain accurate site records of labour, tools, and materials
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover readiness
• Report site progress, risks, and actions to Project Manager

Skills and Competencies

Essential

• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary fit out site teams and subcontractors
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• 7+ years fit out construction experience, with 23 years in a senior role in the UAE
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or NVQ equivalent)
• Museum fit out experience is a must.

Desirable

• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
• BIM-enabled site management experience
• Exposure to Lean or Agile methodologies

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
• 7+ years experience in fit out construction, including senior supervisory roles
