Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee on-site construction activities across multiple projects. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership to site teams while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities from project commencement to completion.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and execution strategies aligned with project objectives.
  • Lead site teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labor forces.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and approved method statements.
  • Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, and work methodologies.
  • Manage subcontractors performance, scope, and deliverables to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Identify construction risks and resolve technical or site-related issues efficiently.
  • Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and site documentation for management review.
  • Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a senior site leadership role within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards, quality control procedures, and local regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and parallel work fronts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with planning tools is an advantage.
