A well-known multinational company is hiring a Civil Construction Manager & PMO Lead for a 1-year contract based in Damietta.
This role is ideal for experienced professionals who can lead employer-side construction execution and project controls for a major container terminal development project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day site construction across civil works, infrastructure, utilities, buildings, and electrical systems
• Act as the Employer's on-site representative ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, quality, and HSE standards
• Review and control project schedules, track progress, and drive recovery actions when needed
• Coordinate between contractors, the Engineer, and stakeholders to manage interfaces and sequencing
• Support contract administration, including RFIs, variations, claims, and progress validation
• Ensure readiness for testing, commissioning, and project handover
• Enforce strict safety and quality assurance practices across all work activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering
• 12–15 years of experience, including large infrastructure, port, or industrial projects
• Strong background in employer/consultant-side supervision of EPC contractors
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
• Solid knowledge of FIDIC contracts, QA/QC systems, and construction sequencing
• Exposure to electrical substations, power distribution, and commissioning phases is a plus
• PMP certification is preferred
• Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills
• Excellent command in English (written and spoken)
