Role Description

The Construction Project Manager Fit-Out is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of interior fit-out projects, ensuring works are completed in line with approved designs, specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with clients, designers, consultants, mall/landlord management, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and successful handover.

Key responsibilities include managing site activities, coordinating multiple trades (joinery, MEP, finishes, FF&E), controlling costs and variations, monitoring progress against schedules, and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and landlord/authority regulations. The Project Manager plays a critical role in resolving site issues, maintaining quality, and delivering high-end interior finishes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, or office)
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination
  • Proven experience in managing fast-track projects and tight handover deadlines
  • Solid understanding of contract administration, cost control, variations, and claims
  • Experience dealing with landlords, malls, and local authority requirements
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project planning tools (Primavera / MS Project preferred)
