Construction Senior Engineer - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and execute the mechanical construction scope, project phases, and schedules.
• Implement method statements and risk assessments.
• Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Manage construction plans according to site conditions and support resolving delays or issues.
• Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and other project teams.
• Lead and supervise site teams; delegate tasks and request additional resources when needed.
• Monitor team performance using available tools and techniques.
• Report progress and escalate issues to Construction Management.
• Follow company HSE standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company quality systems.
• Uphold social accountability standards (SA8000) and report deviations from social compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering .
• Skills: Data analysis, report writing, technical communication, team leadership, conflict resolution.
• Related Field Experience: 4-6 years in Power Station or Oil & Gas construction fields.
• Overall Experience: 8+ years
