Job Description

Job Title: Construction Supervisor

Qualifications

B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university, or
Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline with extensive construction-related experience.
Skills:

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and installation activities within oil & gas projects.
Proven track record in implementing construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise site construction and installation activities for relevant engineering disciplines under assigned Construction/EPIC contracts.
Ensure all work is executed safely and in compliance with:

Participate in constructability reviews as required.
Review contractors construction plans, schedules, method statements, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
Coordinate and control contractor mobilization to sites, including site laydown areas.
Facilitate issuance of necessary permits and gate passes for contractors.
Inspect and test completed project work; arrange recommissioning inspections and initiate Mechanical Completion Certificates.
Ensure completion and clearance of all Punch List items.
Review and endorse red-marked and as-built drawings.
Participate in handover and acceptance processes; review commissioning procedures and assist in commissioning activities.
Review and endorse Construction Dossiers for assigned projects.
Oversee execution of construction and installation scope to ensure timely delivery as per approved specifications and standards.
Ensure timely issuance of PTW (Permit to Work) and supervise contractor teams for compliance.
Review and endorse site work progress reports submitted by contractors.
