Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Construction Team Leader is responsible for leading site execution activities for the High‑Speed Rail (HSR) Sidi Abdel Rahman Station project, and will be acting as a Site Manager, ensuring safe, timely, and high‑quality execution of Infrastructure, and MEP works in compliance with project requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise site construction teams across HSR infrastructure works, including stations, viaducts, depots, tunnels, track‑adjacent structures, and MEP systems.
  • Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure adherence to approved schedules, sequencing, and milestones.
  • Manage subcontractors, manpower, equipment, and materials to optimize site productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, railway authority requirements, and applicable standards and codes.
  • Implement and enforce HSE requirements, ensuring safe working practices in rail corridor and high‑risk environments.
  • Apply QA/QC procedures to ensure construction quality meets project and client expectations.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and proactively resolve site issues.
  • Liaise with project management, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical).
  • Minimum 9–12 years of construction experience, with proven background in HSR, infrastructure, and/or MEP projects, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and coordination in large‑scale infrastructure or MEP projects.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant standards, codes, and local regulations applicable to infrastructure and MEP works.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple site teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
