Job Title: Consultant Business Development & Market Expansion

Job Purpose
The Consultant will be responsible for designing and operationalizing a strategic market initiative, focusing on governance, revenue generation, post-trade infrastructure, technology innovation, and multi-market expansion. The role involves translating strategy into executable operating models and supporting implementation across exchanges, regulators, and market participants.
Job Description
- Design and implement end-to-end operating models aligned with strategic objectives
- Develop governance frameworks to support business growth
- Drive revenue-generating initiatives and commercial structures
- Expand and enhance post-trade infrastructure, including clearing, settlement, and custody
- Support integration of Central Counterparty (CCP) frameworks
- Lead technology innovation and digital transformation initiatives
- Develop commercial frameworks for both trading and non-trading revenue streams
- Enable cross-border expansion and entry into emerging markets
- Introduce new asset classes and enhance post-trade services
- Collaborate with exchanges, regulators, custodians, and brokers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in capital markets, exchanges, or post-trade infrastructure
- Strong expertise in clearing, settlement, custody, and CCP operations
- Proven experience working with exchanges, regulators, CCPs, custodians, and brokers
- Experience in cross-border market infrastructure design and implementation
Key Responsibilities
- Establish end-to-end operating model and governance framework
- Advance revenue generation structures and commercial models
- Expand post-trade services, including clearing, settlement, and custody
- Optimize Delivery vs Payment (DVP) and custodian frameworks
- Develop and execute CCP integration roadmap
- Drive innovation and technology-led initiatives
- Launch trading and non-trading commercial frameworks
- Leverage offerings such as market makers, cross-listings, and IPO connectivity
- Expand into emerging markets and foreign securities
- Design and implement Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) framework
- Support clearing and risk management through CCP-driven models
- Engage and present to external stakeholders and potential partners
