Job Description

We are looking for critical care physician manages patients with life-threatening conditions in the ICU, focusing on organ system support, advanced procedures (intubation, central lines, ventilation), and multidisciplinary team leadership. Key responsibilities include diagnosing complex illnesses, adjusting treatment plans, conducting daily rounds, and ensuring patient safety.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Patient Care: Assess, treat, and stabilize critically ill patients, including those with septic shock, acute renal failure, and severe respiratory compromise.
  • Procedures: Perform and interpret advanced procedures such as invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, and renal replacement therapies.
  • Management: Lead daily multidisciplinary rounds, collaborate with specialists, and communicate with families regarding care plans.
  • Clinical Leadership: Supervise ICU nursing staff, residents, and fellows; participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
  • Standards & Quality: Adhere to DHA/Joint Commission international norms, participate in audits, and implement best practices to improve ICU outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree with residency training in Internal Medicine, Anaesthesiology, or Pulmonology.
  • Training: Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Certification: Board certification (or eligibility) in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Licensure: Valid state or national medical license.
  • Skills: Strong crisis management, rapid decision-making, and high-pressure resilience.
