Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough evaluations and diagnoses of patients with cancer
- Create and implement individualized radiation therapy treatment plans
- Administer radiation treatments and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with medical and surgical oncologists and other specialists
- Educate patients and families about the treatment process and available resources
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Engage in continuing education and research efforts within the field of radiation oncology
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution, with specialization in Radiation Oncology
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required
- Active medical license to practice
- Extensive experience in radiation therapy and management of cancer patients
- Familiarity with the latest radiation techniques and technologies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with patients and healthcare teams
