Position: Hindi Content Annotation Specialist
Type:Remote
Compensation:$32–$40/hour
Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Review Hindi-language video content and write detailed evaluations in English.
- Identify and describe problematic content, including implied meaning, coded language, and cultural subtext.
- Assess viewer impact across emotional and sensitivity dimensions.
- Apply structured rating frameworks to categorize content appropriateness.
- Research unfamiliar references (Hindi slang, trending memes, regional context) to ensure accurate evaluations.
- Triage content that doesn't meet review criteria, such as wrong language or broken media.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native or fluent Hindi speaker with a deep understanding of Hindi internet culture, slang, memes, and regional context.
- Professional writing ability in both Hindi and English.
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
- Ability to evaluate sensitive and disturbing content objectively.
- Familiarity with short-form social media video formats.
- Reliable internet connection for streaming video.
Preferred
- Experience in content annotation, content moderation, or trust and safety.
- Comfortable working with mature, graphic, or sensitive content daily.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on both literal content and underlying intent.
- Strong written communication skills.
