Main job duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure that contract terms and conditions are clearly understood and properly implemented.
- Manage contract correspondence, claims, variations, and extensions of time.
- Support the procurement process by preparing tender documents, scopes of work, and contract packages.
- Evaluate contractor bids, conduct commercial analysis, and assist in contract award processes.
- Analyze and manage contractor claims and disputes in coordination with legal advisors.
- Maintain a risk register related to contractual and commercial issues and suggest mitigation measures.
- Assist in resolving contractual conflicts and change orders efficiently.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and legal teams to ensure alignment on contract execution.
- Interface with contractors and vendors to manage performance and compliance.
- Participate in negotiation meetings and project reviews as required.
- Maintain contract files, correspondence logs, and commercial records.
- Provide periodic reports on contract status, risks, variations, and claims.
- Ensure documentation is aligned with project controls, schedules, and cost forecasts.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job's specialty.
Job requirements:
Educational background and previous experience:
- Bachelor's degree of Electromechanical Engineering
- Min. 3 years of relevant professional experience. (Engineer)
