Contract Manager (FIDIC-based Contracts)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and oversee all commercial activities related to FIDIC-based contracts. You will play a key role in minimizing financial and contractual risks while driving successful project outcomes. This leadership position requires deep expertise in FIDIC contract administration, financial oversight, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of FIDIC-based contracts.
- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts in compliance with FIDIC standards.
- Handle variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes effectively.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
- Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing contract administration team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Represent the company in key commercial negotiations and discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in contract or commercial management, ideally with FIDIC-based contracts.
- Proven expertise in FIDIC contract principles and procedures.
- Strong background in financial management and budgetary control.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and analytical capability.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
