Contract Manager - Engineering Consultancy - Abu Dhabi

An established international architectural and engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its Abu Dhabi team on a landmark building development for a prominent regional developer. This is a key role within the project leadership team, responsible for overseeing contract administration, managing commercial risk, and ensuring the successful delivery of a high-profile project.

As Contracts Manager, you will act as the primary authority on contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project directors, design teams, contractors, and the client, you will ensure contractual compliance, manage claims and variations, and provide strategic advice to protect the consultancy's commercial and legal position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration in accordance with project agreements and applicable conditions of contract.
• Advise project leadership on contractual rights, obligations, and risk management strategies.
• Manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
• Review contractor submissions, notices, and contractual correspondence.
• Coordinate with commercial, design, and project management teams to maintain contractual compliance.
• Support negotiations with contractors and the client on contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to contract administration.
