Job Description

Contract Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a talented Contract Engineer to support the delivery of one of the most ambitious and innovative international destination programmes ever undertaken.

Based in Riyadh, this landmark global event will redefine the traditional expo experience by blending immersive cultural zones, daily activations, and AI-driven experiences. The programme will seamlessly merge world-class hospitality with cutting-edge technology, creating a destination designed to welcome millions of visitors from around the globe.

As Contract Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of major construction and infrastructure packages across the programme. Working within a large multidisciplinary delivery team, you will help ensure that contracts are administered effectively, risks are managed, and project objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and management of construction and consultancy contracts
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of contractual documentation
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Support change management processes, including variations, claims, and contractual correspondence
  • Assist with risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contract reporting
  • Work closely with project, commercial, and programme teams to ensure alignment across delivery packages
  • Maintain accurate contract records and support governance processes

About You

  • Experience working as a Contract Engineer, Contract Administrator, or similar role within major construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of contract management principles and standard forms of contract
  • Experience supporting change management, claims, and variation processes
  • Ability to work within complex, fast-paced project environments
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Degree qualified in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or related discipline
