Job Description

Our client, a leading Construction Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Contracts Managerto support the commercial and contractual delivery of a major Data Center programin Riyadh. The role will manage contract administration, claims, compliance, risk, and commercial governance across the full project lifecycle. This position requires strong knowledge of procurement, contract forms, negotiation, and contractor management within mission critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end contract administration for consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, change orders, and commercial correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical requirements, project timelines, and cost controls.
  • Support procurement processes including tendering, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
  • Manage contractual risks, claims, disputes, and variations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records, contract registers, and reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate with Project Controls, Planning, Cost, and Technical teams to align contractual performance.
  • Provide advice on FIDIC or equivalent contract forms and support governance approvals.
  • Monitor contractor performance, payment applications, guarantees, and contractual deliverables.
  • Support cost forecasting, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives.

Experiences & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in contract management, with at least 35 years in data centers or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and international contract standards.
  • Proven expertise in tendering, negotiations, claims, and contractual risk management.
  • Experience working within consultancies is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex multi-contract environments.
