Contracts Manager

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at our project site based in Dubai, UAE. The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from inception through execution and performance. The role ensures compliance with client contracts, subcontract agreements, and applicable regulations while minimizing commercial risks and maximizing project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all post-award contractual activities for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar EPC projects.
• Interpret EPC contracts, subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and consortium/JV agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, milestones, deliverables, and notice requirements.
• Maintain contract registers, correspondence logs, and contractual documentation.
• Prepare and manage claims.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of variation orders and commercial impacts.
• Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual matters.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution strategies.
• Identify, assess, and manage contractual risks and opportunities during project execution.
• Assist in assessing the contract risks and in providing the mitigation plans.
• Understand the technical disciplines related to the industry.
• Support project teams on contractual interpretation and commercial decision-making.
• Participate in project review meetings and client discussions.
• Track contractual KPIs, payment milestones, guarantees, and warranties.
• Having knowledge of construction activities to assess the consequential associated risks.
• Hands on skills in using latest MS office, Word & Excel

Education & Experience:

• 10–12 years of experience in contracts management, preferably in solar EPC / renewable energy / infrastructure projects
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce, or Business Administration
• Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management / Construction Law is an advantage
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and international EPC contracting models.
• Strong exposure to post contracts
