Employment: Outsourced through ManpowerGroup Middle East

Overview:

The Contract Operations Manager is responsible for Contract Lifecycle Management for IPM in collaboration with relevant functions and under the supervision of the Contract Manager Lead.

He/she is responsible for the preparation, review and management of contracts/agreements and related documents (amendments, LOAs, etc.) with business partners, vendors and other stakeholders. The Contract Operations Manager ensures contracts and templates are compliant with internal SOPs and procedures to defend the best interest of the company and provides guidance to all functions on Contract Lifecycle Management process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare/draft, review and update existing contracts/agreements and related documents.
  • Address all inquiries on contracts/agreements and related documents for all functions within IPM and provide guidance under the supervision of the Contract Manager Lead.
  • Coordinate the Contract Lifecycle Management flow of contracts/agreements and related documents within IPM (drafting, review, signature, storage, update, archiving).
  • Negotiate contractual terms with inputs from and under supervision of relevant functions.
  • Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties.
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts/agreements and other documents templates and with applicable Contract Lifecycle Management processes and contracts review SOPs.
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contractual terms.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions provided in contracts/agreements and related documents are met (e.g. payments and shipments).
  • Create and maintain a contracts/agreements and related documents tracker.
  • Plan and engage with relevant stakeholders in due time.
  • Collect necessary approvals and maintain contracts/agreements and related documents database up to date.
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum a bachelor degree, (Business Administration, Legal, Life Science, etc.).
  • Min. 5-8 years experience in similar role (ideally pharma/biotech industries and with distributor business). Expertise in steering, coordination and improvement of procedures & processes.
  • Experience in contract management contracts drafting and management
  • Good understanding of common business processes.
  • Competence and seniority to design and manage process implementation, complex projects and change management.
