We are seeking a Contracts Manager as part of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Riyadh Branch. The job opening is located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the full contracts lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and commercial requirements.
- Oversee contract administration, change management, claims, risk mitigation, and stakeholder co-ordination to protect the organization's interests and ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing the contracts with all subcontractors
- Monitoring of KPIs, planning of renewals, cost challenge
- Development and execution of knowledge transfer for contract management related disciplines.
- Oversee contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors and service providers
- Review and analyze contract proposals and agreements for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms and service quality
- Resolve contract-related disputes and issues in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to draft and revise contracts as needed
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend contract renewals, modifications, or terminations

- Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of contracts, payments, and vendor communications.
- Prepare monthly performance reports of the Contractor Business Unit activities, highlight any im-mediate recommendations and plans to resolve
- Superior to the Head of quality and compliance.
- Ensure the successful implementation of an effective reporting system aligned to the best practices of DB E&C.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Professional certification such as MRICS, PMP or equivalent advantage.
- At least 12 years of experience in contracts management & administration in infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years of experience in railway projects. Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of international contract forms such as FIDIC.
- Experience in claim management and dispute resolution.
- Familiarity with contract conditions such as FIDIC.
- Have working experience in KSA or another GCC country.
- Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and quest for optimization.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well organization and planning skills.
- Ability to work in a cooperative team environment, with stakeholders from very different fields.
- Excellent communication skills fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Arabic language communication skills will be an advantage.
- User skills in MS Office applications.
- Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative
